Welcome to Crosftsmuir Steading
Gordon and Anne have farmed in the Carmyllie area for many years. Their house, Croftsmuir Steading, was originally a farm building, home to cows and calves and was renovated to a two storey dwelling in 2007. Upstairs is available to our guests with a double room and a twin room and private facilities. Adjoining the bedrooms there is a large sitting room with a panoramic view overlooking a creative garden and beyond, a vision of the Tay estuary. The furnishings are luxurious where our visitors relax, read, watch television or catch up with the day’s events with our reliable Wi-Fi. Gordon and Anne are delighted that Visit Scotland have awarded them ‘Taste Our Best’ where breakfasts are cooked from ingredients that are sourced locally. Also Visit Scotland have awarded the hosts the ‘I Know Angus’ award as, being indigenous, has helped their history knowledge to become unsurpassed and would benefit the needs of ancestral tourists.
